Recommendation and Personalization in our Music Streaming Service - machine learning and things beyond machine learning

Ann Chen
Machine Researcher, KKBox

The importance of machine learning techniques to a mature recommendation system has been highly highlighted already.  Machine learning techniques is a necessary element for building recommendation and personalization. However, there are far more important things while introducing those techniques into a product. Despite machine learning techniques, there are also many other techniques required to develop a mature product. Despite techniques, there are a lot of things to be taken care of.  We will share our experiences during this talk.

Hsiao-Wei Hu
Associate Professor of School of Big Data Management, Soochow University

"Not everyone can become a great Data scientists, but a great Data scientists can come from anywhere."
